I've just finished reading "Super Crunchers" by Ian Ayres.
Have worked recently on an extensive business plan, I really enjoyed this book.
Research, Planning, Analysis are VITAL before you jump into Action.

iGoogle
I have just added the calendar feature to my iGoogle account and to my absolute pleasure I have discovered a fantastic feature. Google will send me SMS reminders about each event for FREE.

Working with Winners

I had to post this photo because it made me laugh...and then it made me think.

These are 5 great books i read this month.
"Made to Stick" - Dan Heath and Chip Heath
"The Tipping Point" - Malcom Gladwell
"The Dip" - Seth Godin
"Change to Strange" - Daniel M. Cable
"The Self Destructive Habits of Good Companies....
and how to break them." - Jagdish N. Sheth
These 5 Fantastic books are really really really worth the read!
...and then when success is so huge that you are feeling like something is missing, then read
"Giving - How each of us can change the world." by Bill Clinton.
I never though I would read a book by this Clinton man, but I must say, I like him.
This is a great book that highlights some beautiful and selfless human beings.
I want to live this book.

SMS monitoring of printed media
We are currently using a new, very simple form of SMS technology to monitor your printed media. We are using it to track how many people are responding to the media and get feedback.
All data is collected into an Excel format and given to the company who ran the printed campaign. Nothing new you may say....but NOW you can afford it...in fact at this price you can't afford not to use this form of technology.
Creative Print World has just printed some invitations for a small business that is having a product launch in its offices in 5 major cities in South Africa.
1000 invitations are being printed. Each invitation has been stamped with a unique number. Each Rep is given a certain quantity of those invites and those numbers have been recorded.
RSVP is being handled by SMS. The invited person has to send in their unique number, the name of their store and how many people will attend the product launch.
The customer by RSVP'ing has entered themselves into a competition.
Added benefits are:
1. You can track the hand out of invitations
2. The RSVP response time can be sped up due to the competition incentive.
3. You gain access to the cell number of the person who sent you the SMS.
The cost of the above print run and SMS monitoring cost R8550.00 inc vat
A Fantastic price to print the invites, monitor the hand out and RSVP's and then enjoy a great response to the product launch.
All this works really well if you have a good relationship with your customers and from our experience really improves the relationship.
